Nofar van Frank is a child and youth coach and psychologist (MSc) with expertise in intercultural advice. As an expat mother with a Dutch background, she understands the challenges of life abroad. She specializes in providing mental health care for children and families, helping them navigate social-emotional challenges, cognitive difficulties and stress, while promoting personal growth and resilience.
Using a tailored approach to the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Nofar focuses on changing cognitive patterns and promoting emotional well-being.
Therapy is offered in English, Dutch and Hebrew.
Professional approach
Everyone can be temporarily out of balance, including children. This can have consequences for the child and his environment (home and school). Understanding and loving support can make the difference.

Services
Child therapy 5-18 years
First, the request for help, the sources, the wishes and goals are examined. Together you will then build a program to help your child and the family. By actively listening and empathizing with the situation, concrete steps can often be taken in a relatively short time. This allows the child (and/or parent) to continue independently.
As a therapist, Nofar uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which involves changes in mentality and behavior, focus and feeling, play and movement therapy and manual dexterity.
Parental guidance
Struggling with setting boundaries, dealing with emotional or cognitive changes and their influence on behavior, power struggles and much more.
Adlerian parental guidance is a therapeutic guidance tool that allows parents to discuss the problems they or their children face and develop practical skills to help them improve their role as parents and the many challenges of parenthood.
Guidance for expats
There is no denying that children of expats have certain valuable opportunities. But being placed in a new environment can also be overwhelming and challenging for both children and parents, leading to behavioral changes, anxiety and difficulties in adapting to a new environment, culture and language.
